I’ve setup port forwarding on the router. I cannot see remote desktop options in system preferences. On the remote machine I see a blue desktop-type of screen with the win 7 logo at the bottom, and it says “please wait” with a spinning cursor. You run the patch on the remote pc not on the one that you’re using. I cant even find where to patch the dll in a hex editor. If that’s the case and I could find what needs to be patched, I would update the tool. Because if we installed this KB, our concurent rdp will not working.

But OS info show termsrv.dll has an unknown checksum. I had downloaded the pacth in november and Remote Desktop connections were working fine. What is the maximum number of concurrent connections? Has anyone tried 8 or more concurrent connections? Right now when I log in with the same user, it creates a new session and hence does not take me to the current working window.

I’ve found some more code that might help fix problems on 32-bit but 64-bit is the latest patch code I can find. Well, I hate to reply to myself so foolishly, but the problem was so simple I’m ashamed of myself… Firewall ports had to be updated. It accept username and password, but then it never show any messages, no response… just as like blocked by something.
If a running session on console, this session is not impacted at all. When trying to remotly connect, the session start but then stop. I tried the Feb 2019 patch on W7 Prof French version. I think there were some updates from April that are blocking this. Nope, my Win 7 is fully up to date and my status is simply “unpatched”, therefore the dll has not been changed. Nope it does not – I get error message that termsrv.dll has different checksum. This morning I tried 64bit and worked pergectly.
